Cummins Supplier Forced Labor Prevention
Cummins is known for our commitment to social responsibility and is a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact and its underlying principles on human rights, labor rights, environmental, and anti-corruption
Increasingly, governments are adopting laws aimed at eliminating forced labor from supply chains. These laws require companies to analyze the risk in their supply chains and to make disclosures regarding their efforts to ensure that their supply chains are free from forced labor.
To manage risks to our business, supply chain transparency is more important than ever before to meet the expectations of our customers.
With the ever-increasing need to manage risks to our business, supply chain transparency is more important than ever before to meet the expectations of our customers. Supply chain transparency is one of the best ways to build trust between suppliers, companies, and customers and is now required by law. As such, Cummins has released a new Cummins Supplier Forced Labor Prevention Policy
Per this new policy, our supply partners must provide full supply chain transparency as requested by tracing the supply chain from raw materials to the parts they provide to Cummins. The Supply Chain Tracing Requirements Checklist provides guidance on the type of tracing evidence that is required.
If you become aware of a stopped shipment for any of your other customers related to forced labor, you should notify Cummins immediately by sending an email to your Cummins Sourcing Manager and [email protected]. If you have questions about the Cummins Supplier Forced Labor Prevention Policy or need support with your supply chain tracing exercise, please contact your Cummins Sourcing Manager or Sathya Gunaseelan
We look forward to continuing to partner with you to improve the transparency and resiliency of our supply chain by identifying opportunities and mitigating risks.
